Leadership
The Rev. Sarah Brockmann is the Interim Campus Minister and Assistant Priest at St. Thomas’s Parish. She is keen to provide opportunities for active mission, engaging worship, amusing activities, and a bit of a gnosh.
Ann Urinoski is our ECM President for the second year running! She is an English Education major, and she has recently entered the ordination process in the Diocese of New Jersey. Ann is very active on both the Province and the National level in the Episcopal Church. People know her!
Professor Lawrence Duggan is our faculty advisor and a parishioner at St. Thomas’s. He has been active in our Campus Ministry for many years, sharing his time and expertise. You may even see him, as shown here, as St. Nicholas!

Fellowship
This fall, ECM will meet on Wednesday nights from 8:30 -10:00 p.m. at St. Thomas’s Parish, 276 S. College Ave. in Newark. Join us for good snacks, good conversation, and engaging program that requires no homework and no reading! We are also looking forward to several outings and events throughout the school year.
Communion
As Episcopalians, we believe that we are a part of something much bigger than just a parish or a group. ECM members participate in the Episcopal Church on a Province-wide and National level, attending conferences all over the U.S. It’s a great way to meet new people and share your faith!
Mission
In 2008, members of ECM and some new friends spent Spring Break in Romania on a Habitat for Humanity Build. (See details below.) Already in the works for this fall: a local Habitat build and participation in a project for wounded American soldiers. And where will we go next spring? Come and help us decide!
Faith
Members of Episcopal Campus ministry join St. Thomas’s Church for parish at both the 10:30 a.m. and the 5:30 p.m. services on Sundays. Both services are followed by an informal reception and fellowship. We end each ECM meeting with a brief devotion. We also offer a very relaxed weekly Bible Study at BrewHaHa on Main Street on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m.
You don’t have to be an Episcopalian to join us. All you need is a desire to explore your faith and why it really, really matters.
